In 2021, Microsoft Design sought a fresh take on traditional expressions, and teamed up with our studio to explore a visual landscape.
Our exploration began with icons to visually represent abstract, emotional-driven moments in a person's life, and to create unique and ownable shapes that Microsoft could use across their many designed platforms.
With concepts ranging from inclusion to courage, the goal was to create a more universal and emotional set of symbols for people to express gratitude to one another.
